Tracy Beattie set up Crafty Coast in 2012 and has never looked back. Her art is inspired by the world around her, blending man-made items shaped by the sea with whimsical impressions of coastal life. Above all she wants to make people smile with her whimsical illustrations and artwork. Read more about Tracy and her journey by clicking here.
When creating 3D pieces, Tracy uses materials which she has found washed up on local beaches to create her unique style of work. To read more about the materials she uses, click here.
When painting or drawing in 2D, she likes to work in several different mediums - from pens to watercolour paints, but often favours acrylics.
She has designed several merchandise items from tea-towels, shopping bags, mugs, fridge magnets, badges, calendars and pocket mirrors; many of which are available at her local National Trust sites on Northern Ireland’s North Coast.
